Classifies the possession and transport of abortion-inducing medications as trafficking an illegal substance. Exempts contraception when used as directed by the manufacturer and medications that may cause an abortion when used for other purposes.
This is a refile of HB 3013 (2024). Compared to the original version, this version removes the criminal ban on advertising abortion-inducing medications and provides clearer guidance on the law’s impact on medications that may cause an abortion.
