Increases the minimum wage for tipped food service workers to $5.00 per hour.
Federal law currently allows tipped workers to earn a sub-minimum wage as low as $2.13 per hour, with the expectation that their tips bring their total earnings up to the standard minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.
