Reintroduction of the “Women’s Bill of Rights” from 2023. Would apply Governor Stitt’s August Executive Order, also titled the “Women’s Bill of Rights,” across all Oklahoma law rather than just agencies.
Seeks to define gendered terms like man, woman, boy, girl, mother, and father by sex at birth (“biological sex”) across all Oklahoma statutes.
Allows for workplace discrimination between men and women if sex is determined to be a limiting factor for the job. Bars workplace discrimination based on sex between “similarly situated” employees. “Similarly situated” is not defined.
Requires state and municipal data collection only to offer “male” and “female” as options when asking “Sex.” A separate, more expansive “Gender” question is permitted.
