Reinforces that abortion is banned except in the case of grave risk to the mother. Proceeds to classify an abortion as murder of the “unborn child.” Allows the mother to be found guilty of murder for her abortion.
Proposed changes in SB 538 would govern the fund’s expenditures.
The new fund would absorb the current balance associated with the Choosing Childbirth Act and the proposed $18,000,000 general budget process allocation.
