Bans providing abortion medication with the intent to cause an abortion, including giving, selling, dispensing, administering, prescribing, distributing, or trafficking the medication. Clarifies that the ban only pertains to medication with the intent to cause an abortion.
Similar to Rep. Crosswhite-Hader’s HB 1168 (2025). However, SB 883 does not classify the act of providing the medication as trafficking an illegal substance.
